How To Guide

This guide will show you how to install a popular IPTV player and configure it using an M3U playlist URL (http://freetv.pro) to watch all the channels on the Smash Streaming Platform.

YES! All the channels on the Smash Online Platform are completely free.

IPTV players that support M3U URLs (like http://freetv.pro) are available on nearly all major platforms. You will need a device with an internet connection and access to an app store or web browser. Below are the common devices and recommended applications:

  • Android Devices: Use the Google Play Store to install Smarters Pro - Mobile on your phone or tablet, or Smarters Pro on your Android TV Box (e.g., NVIDIA Shield).

  • iOS/Apple Devices: Use the Apple App Store to install IPTV Smarters Player on your iPhone, iPad, or Apple TV.

  • Amazon Devices: Use the Amazon Appstore search function to install IPTV Smarters Pro on your Fire TV Stick, Fire TV Cube, or Fire Tablet.

  • Computers: Download the installer for IPTV Smarters Pro or use a third-party application like VLC Media Player on Windows or macOS.

  • Smart TVs (Non-Android): If your Samsung (Tizen) or LG (WebOS) TV has a dedicated app store, search for Smart IPTV (SIPTV) or IPTV Smarters Pro (availability varies).

For downloads and information on other compatible devices, visit smarterspro.com

Once the installation is complete, open the application. When the app first opens, it will ask how you want to log in. Choose the option that says:

  • "Load Your Playlist or File / URL" (or similar, sometimes labeled as "Load M3U File")

You will see two fields that require input:

  • Playlist Name: Enter an easy-to-remember name for the list, such as Smash.
  • M3U URL: Carefully type or paste the exact playlist address into this field:

    http://freetv.pro

Click the "Add User" or "Connect" button. The app will start loading the channels.

When the loading is complete, select "Live" and you should see a list of Smash channels.

Select one of the channels to begin streaming.

While access to our content and channels is free, due to licensing rights to our Online Platform is geo-locked and only available to viewers in Malta. If your device is connecting to the internet from outside of Malta (based on your IP address), you may see an error message when attempting to stream channels.

If you notice that channels are missing or that old channels are still listed after a source update, you need to manually refresh the playlist due to the difference in how various apps handle M3U updates. Not all applications are made equal - some apps are better than others and will update the playlist automatically on startup. Others simply load the playlist once, save it internally and keep loading an outdated playlist.

If your player includes an automatic or manual refresh function, you will be able to update the playlist - look for an option that says "Update Playlist," "Refresh List," or "Re-Load Channels" and select it.

On other players where a dedicated refresh option is not available you have to force the app to reload the list by deleting the existing playlist, and re-adding it (http://freetv.pro)
